Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports journey at age fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. She then went back to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her via an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in 2015after signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the next match with Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen employed the strong skills she had learned in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended her fight via an KO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by an unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina as she ground-and-pound beat her to the TKO win in the second round. She continued her dominance and racked up an stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd took over Evinger's fight following the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos anjos-lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was her first fight that she's had in a major way. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and the Fight of the Night award went to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd in 16-seconds to break her streak of winning. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a unanimous decision.
