Yvonne De Carlo was an American television and film actress that was born and raised in Canada. The actress passed away on January 8, 2007. In her six decade career the films she appeared in were most notable during the 1950s. She played her best famous roles in films such as Anna Marie in Salome where She Danced Anna and Criss-Cross Sephora on The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston. She also played Amantha in Band of Angels alongside Clark Gable. In the 1960s, she was the first actress to be cast as De Carlo accepted the offer to play Lily Munster for the CBS TV series The Munsters alongside Fred Gwynne as well as Al Lewis.
